Bringing Your Puppy Home
Welcoming a new Great Dane puppy is an exciting day, and we want the journey home to be as safe and comfortable as possible.
Southern Pines Family Danes is located in Bon Aqua, Tennessee. Families are always welcome to make arrangements to pick up their puppy in person. When distance makes that difficult, we may be able to help coordinate a delivery option.
Personal Delivery
Whenever our schedule allows, we enjoy personally delivering puppies to their new families. We occasionally plan delivery routes and share upcoming destinations on our social media pages.
Personal delivery availability depends on your location, our schedule, the puppy’s age, and the needs of the litter. Because every trip is different, delivery is not guaranteed until the arrangements have been confirmed.
Flight-Delivery
For some destinations, Rachel may be able to accompany your puppy by plane and meet you at your nearest major airport.
Your puppy travels in the airplane cabin with Rachel and remains under her personal care throughout the trip. We do not place our puppies in airline cargo.
Availability and pricing depend on airfare, destination, travel dates, airline requirements, and the puppy’s size at the time of travel.
Professional Ground or Flight Transportation
When personal delivery is not available, we may provide information for a reputable professional puppy transporter.
Professional transportation companies operate independently from Southern Pines Family Danes. Families are responsible for reviewing the transporter’s services, policies, availability, and pricing before making arrangements.
Delivery Costs
All transportation-related expenses are the responsibility of the puppy’s purchaser. Depending on the delivery method, costs may include:
Transportation or flight fees
Airline or service charges
Ground transportation
Travel crates or carriers
Required health documentation
Taxes or other applicable expenses
Because each delivery is unique, pricing is quoted individually. Fees typically fall in between $300-800. Delivery fees must be paid before travel reservations or transportation arrangements are finalized.
Planning Ahead
Please let us know as early as possible if you will need help bringing your puppy home. Advance notice gives us the best opportunity to review available options and create a safe travel plan.
